Creative For More is seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our growing team in Tokyo. In this contract role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging Japanese companies looking to expand into Southeast Asian markets. The ideal candidate will have strong networking abilities, experience in B2B sales within the Japanese market, and the ability to effectively communicate our digital marketing and market entry solutions. You will work closely with our Singapore headquarters to leverage cross-border opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with local clients. This position offers competitive commission-based compensation and the opportunity to play a key role in our company's expansion across Asia. Japanese business-level proficiency and understanding of Southeast Asian markets is essential.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and cultivating business opportunities with Japanese companies seeking expansion into Southeast Asian markets.

Key responsibilities include proactively prospecting and reaching out to potential clients, conducting discovery meetings to understand their market entry needs, presenting Creative For More's digital marketing and branding solutions, and coordinating with our Singapore team to develop tailored proposals.

The role involves maintaining a healthy pipeline of qualified leads, building strong relationships with decision-makers, representing the company at relevant business events and networking forums, and collaborating with the marketing team to develop targeted outreach strategies. Success in this role requires meeting monthly sales targets, maintaining accurate records in our CRM system, and serving as a bridge between Japanese clients and our Southeast Asian operations.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have proven B2B sales experience in the Japanese market, with a track record of building relationships with mid-sized companies and their decision-makers. We seek someone with business-level Japanese language proficiency and strong English communication skills, along with a basic understanding of Southeast Asian markets and business cultures. Experience in digital marketing, advertising, or related services is preferred, as is familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools. A bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant sales experience are desired, though what matters most is your ability to connect with clients and understand their business needs.
